Solar Trail Lighting - Phase Two

Intallation has begun on Phase II of the Solar Lighting project.  Eight Se'lux brand solar light fixtures are being assembled by CC&M Service Inc. at the Kerper's Landing sight, located along the Schuylkill River Trail in the Reading, PA riverfront area.  The solar lighting will illuminate the upcoming boat landing, trail and parking areas at Kerper's Landing.

Description:

Thanks to a generous grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources, Energy Harvest Grant and the Met-Ed Sustainable Energy Fund, plans are in development to illuminate Kerper's Landing along the Schuylkill River with LED strip lighting powered by a remote rooftop photovoltaic array.

RiverPlace is reviewing options for lighting several locations, including but not limited to the Schuylkill River Bridge, the Amphitheater Park, and the West Shore Trail and Boardwalk.
