Sculptural Bicycle Racks

The Sculptural Bike Rack Project consists of three designs and locations:

Stonecliffe Park Bike Rack during fabrication at Berks Career and Technology Center

Each sculpture will accommodate about six bikes, and be available for public use. This public arts project is designed to expose people to sculpture, and create a sense of community through alternative methods of traveling.

Artist Ben Sharp and RiverPlace are working together on this project to have these sculptural bike racks by late June.  The students at Berks Career Technology Center are encouraged to partake in this project as it relates to the skills and trades that they are learning now.

The bike racks were designed by artist Ben Sharp.  To see more of his work click here: thebensharp.com

The bike racks were fabricated at the Berks Career Technology Center with help from their students.
