Description: The Sovereign Center was constructed on the site of the former 1929 art deco Astor Theater. Artifcafts of significant historical value were incorporated into the interior design of the facility. The Astor's main chandelier hands in the entrance lobby, iron grilles from the Theater's mezzazine are located on the concourse, and motifs of two tile drinking fountains were replicated using original materials.
